“Helper is where I got my “painting legs. It’s where I learned, not only how to paint, but how to paint and make a living. Taking classes and rubbing shoulders with Dave Dornan, Paul Davis, Tony Smith and Marilou Kundmueller for the past 20 years has given me the encouragement and inspiration I needed to find my way in the art business.”

How fun would it be to travel throughout central and southern Utah and paint along the way? This is something we have wanted to do for a long time! So we have decided to make it into a traveling workshop and do some teaching along the way.
A nine-day “tour” through central and southern Utah starting in the great little mining town of Helper, Utah and moving on down to Southern Utah, taking in several National Parks along the way, including Capitol Reef National Park, the Grand Staircase Escalante, Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park. Staying in the quaint little towns of Torrey, Boulder, Escalante and ending in the breathtaking Bryce Canyon staying at the Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel and painting on the rim of the canyon! It will be a great “working” vacation that you will never forget! Limiting the class to only ten students will give each student plenty of one-on-one instruction.
Dates: September 22 - 30, 2012
